Dall’11 luglio 2020, giorno di presentazione della guida “Ussita, Monti Sibillini” alla comunità, sono state installate ad Ussita Le Madonnelle, quattro opere di interazione con il paesaggio allocate lungo i percorsi della guida, a cura degli artisti Giacomo Giovannetti e Paola Villani. Le 4 opere saranno fruibili per tutta l’estate in Piazza dei Cavallari (accanto a Focotto), nella frazione di Tempori, all’inizio del Monumento a Capuzi di Capovallazza, in via Pian dell’Arco a Frontignano. Lasciamo alle parole di Paola Villani la loro presentazione.
Immaginare un oggetto per una comunità che non conoscevo è stato un percorso affascinate, di studio e conoscenza reciproca, maturato durante questa lunga quarantena e apparso nella realtà qualche giorno fa, durante la presentazione della guida “Ussita, Monti Sibillini: deviazioni inedite raccontate dagli abitanti”, che i ragazzi di C.A.S.A. e Sineglossa hanno realizzato insieme alla comunità.
Da un lungo e meraviglioso confronto con C.A.S.A. e la comunità di Ussita sono nate Le Madonnelle, piccoli oggetti sparpagliati nel territorio di Ussita. Li potete trovare percorrendo i sentieri suggeriti nella guida, ma probabilmente anche perdendovi un po’. Sono, di fatto, dei punti di riferimento sui sentieri, pensati come indicatore di percorso, punto di sosta e di incontro tra una comunità presente sul territorio e una che lo attraversa.
Accostandovi ad esse, scoprirete che sono dei giocattoli posti sulle vie dei camminatori, che invitano a manipolare e riformulare immagini, utilizzando gli elementi che Giacomo Giovannetti ha generosamente cercato e composto a partire dalla realtà e negli archivi della città, creando degli artwork scomposti su piani trasparenti, ri-inventabili da chiunque abbia voglia di manipolarli.
Ma Le Madonnelle sono, per me, soprattutto una proposta di gioco e di immaginazione critica sul paesaggio, che qui più che in ogni altro luogo si manifesta come una realtà in costante mutamento. Le linee che, come crepe, attraversano le installazioni, sono state generosamente donate dalla comunità stessa, nell’utopico tentativo di rappresentare lo skyline della valle che vivono e attraversano ogni giorno, da punti di vista e soggettività completamente diverse. Grazie a Mara, Viola, Giuseppe, Federica e Alberto per questo.
Queste stesse immagini possono essere usate come un filtro in trasparenza sul paesaggio: chiunque voglia, può intervenire sulle immagini disegnando o scrivendo, in ogni caso, aggiungendo quello che manca.
Nelle Madonnelle il paesaggio è nelle vostre mani.
E forse è il caso di iniziare ad assumercene la responsabilità.

È un giovane artista di Senigallia che ha lavorato su tantissimo materiale arrivato dalla popolazione per la guida: scritti, lettere, fotografie, vecchi libri, appunti, diapositive, articoli di giornale, cartoline. Abbiamo messo tra le sue mani questo prezioso materiale, una piccola scatola delle meraviglie da cui Giacomo ha attinto per la realizzazione di alcuni collage contenuti nella guida e nelle istallazioni Le Madonnelle.

Dal 2007 al 2014 ha dato vita a pathosformel, una compagnia teatrale insignita del premio UBU, menzione Premio Scenario e Biennale Giovani Artisti di Bologna. I loro spettacoli sono stati presentati in tutta Europa in festival e teatri. Paola Villani è attualmente scenografa e collabora con diversi artisti e festival, come la Biennale di Venezia Arti Visive e il MAMbo museo d’arte contemporanea di Bologna. Attualmente è referente tecnico della Sociètas Raffaello Sanzio, una delle più importanti compagnie teatrali d’avanguardia. Per la guida di Ussita ha progettato e realizzato, insieme a Giacomo Giovannetti, Le Madonnelle.
